Tell your MP: crack down on Big Tech

The government has just published a new Fraud Strategy, and we think it lets Big Tech off the hook. 

Ministers promised to make Big Tech go ‘further and faster’ to fight fraud on their platforms in 2024. But while fraud attempts skyrocket and social media giants profit from scam ads, ministers have taken almost two years to pull together a fraud plan that fails to acknowledge tech giants’ responsibility for the deluge of scams on their platforms. And we’re still waiting for scam ad protections to come into effect. 

We need your help to tell the government what we think of this. Your MP represents all the people in your local area, and it’s their job to listen to you.
